|
|
Edit: Updated 9/26.
The following list defines each new rank and the privileges/restrictions associated with it. Also: raid priority means that "Social Members" will be sat for "Raiders" first, then "Recruits." Loot priority means that "Recruits" and "Social Members" are treated as an Alt would be, meaning: they cannot roll on something that a Raider wants to roll on (within reason).
Recruit—Raid priority, but no loot priority. No friend vouches. Can’t receive loot on their first run with the guild. For items that would otherwise be sharded: As collateral, pay shard price or give an actual shard to the G-bank...if the person ends up joining the guild the collateral will be refunded, but they will be charged DKP for the item (prices will be adjusted as necessary). A 2 weeks trial period will be given, then the class officer will decide if they join based on attendance and skill (If an officer needs more time to decide then the time will be extended another 2 weeks). This rank will be given to people on trial and also to "Raiders" that are on probation due to poor attendance.
Time Out—O chat privileges, but no speaking privileges in guild chat. The name is pretty self explanitory, but this rank will be used to handle disputes between people.
Social Member—Friends of raiders and officers. No loot or raiding priority. No friend vouches. Can be promoted to "Raider" status from this rank under special circumstances.
Raider—Raid and loot priority. Expected to have 70% attendance, if someone falls below this without good reason, then they will be demoted down to recruit status. To be repromoted, the person must improve their raid attendance back up the to 70% mark (re-evaluations will take place at the end of each month. Class officers are responsible for the demotes/promotes). Receives 2 friend vouches, but if the friend invited is kicked for whatever reason, then the person loses all friend vouching privileges.
Junior Officer—Catch all--basically people that help with various guild tasks, power to promote/demote, O chat privileges
Class Officer—Power to invite/kick, O chat privileges, promote/demote, in charge of recruiting for their class and anything else concerning their class such as loot discrepancies or disagreements.
Senior Officer—Power to promote/demote, invite/kick, will be main raid leaders, arbiters/enforcers of rules, G-banks, O chat privileges
Guild Master(GM)—Final decision in Senior Officer discrepancies and responsible for everything else Senior Officers are as well.
Another thing you've probably noticed are the friend vouches. We decided to add this in to give people a way to invite their friends, yet keep tabs on it. Regardless of previous invitations, except in some special cases, every raider and officer will start with one (1). This can be used to invite a friend of your choice to be a "Social Member" of the guild.
The last big changes regard the DKP system. An all new system was devised for the new instances in The Burning Crusade, so those points will be seperate from the previous 20/40 man points. For further explanation please visit: http://www.therelinquished.com/dkexplained.htm . Tim (Kandu) is charge of the new Zero-Sum system, so any comments/concerns should be directed toward him.

There is, it just has a lame name at the moment. _________________ Sometimes the difference between victory and defeat can cost you your own sanity -- or your own life.

Ok...Class Officer, is no longer the name of a rank.
Senior Officer is no longer the name of a rank...
And Guild master, is no longer the name a rank.
Those titles no longer exist.
They are assumed under different names at the moment for some reason. (High overlord = class officer in the job description etc)
So what's the point of having an unupdated thread. _________________ Kelsey State |
