Music SuggestionsI hardly listen to the radio at all, so I have a hard time discovering new music unless someone lends me a CD or sends me some songs over the internet. So I'm asking if anyone has any suggestions for music or a band that you think I might like.
I'll list some music I have so you get a general idea of what I like: Game soundtracks (music from the Final Fantasy Games, Silent Hill, Xenogears, Kingdom Hearts) System of a Down, The Killers, Feist, America, Coldplay, Bass Hunter, Cake, Daft Punk, David Bowie, Foo Fighters, Queen, Radiohead, The Darkness, The Cure, The Beatles, Movie/TV soundtracks (Lord of the Rings Soundtracks), Green Day, Gorillaz, Anime soundtracks (Escaflowne, FLCL, Gravitation, Cowboy Bebop, most stuff by Yoko Kanno), They Might Be Giants, Brollywacker (original traditional style Celtic music), Muse, Group X, Classical/Orchestra (Nutcracker), and traditional Japanese/Chinese music.
As you can see it's some what of a variety, though I'm not too fond of rap (mostly 'gangsta' rap or whatever), R&B, or country. Though there's always exceptions (I have Move Bitch by Ludacris and Gold Digger by Kanye West).

Why not check out some Nightwish or Sonata Arctica?
For Nightwish try to pick up their Once, or Century Child CD. It's basically a full hit, all the songs off of Once are great.
For Sonata Arctica, their new CD Unia is alright. I'd go for the songs, Full Moon, Don't Say a Word (I love this song ><), and Broken as well.
I'm not really a particular fan of most of the "power metal" scene (I.E. symphony x, blind guardian, dragonforce) but these, I feel, set themselves apart.

Amazing musici have the best classical music you can pretty much find on the net, Beethoven, Bach, the works and not only do i have those but i have a lot of really good songs like the Moonlight Sonata, Fur Elise, and a bunch other on the classical guitar...fuckin amazing.for soundtracks i love the 300 soundtracks....best one ever would be the Braveheart soundtrack, also look for Gladiator soundtrack.
