More like, Can't fix my mother. She gave me her credit card 2 months ago agreeing to pay for my subscribtion because I basically had all A's in school, now 2 months later, I'm still doing better in school and got into the honor roll, but now I find out she got a new credit card and replaced the one I used and when I went to go ask her, she flipped out of course. And doesn't even act like anything happend two months ago, she gave a flat out NO.
She is Chinese and acting her chinese self, which isn't exactly an insult, it's just that she is like... "the chinese culture (hard working) etc etc, wants me to be too"
I try to explain myself but she doesn't understand. I'm not lying when I say that sometimes I may be in my room and ONLY watching TV or have the internet browser open but nothing is on there and she may walk in and say, "(omg! - to express the emotion) You are playing Game?! STOP PLAY!"
And I respond with, WOOOOOW, i'm only watching tV! I'm even doing my HOMEWORK! (she responds with a tch, or a heh) YEAH, HOME - WORK DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT IS?
She also may complain that I don't do other things. Let me tell you what they are.
1. Cook for her (I was never taught how to or given ideas or aid by recpie books or ingredients, she just simply tells me to cook for the family)
2. Clean up after myself. (God knows I do, believe me, it may not be the minute I make a mess but within a minute, an hour or day depending on the severity, I do clean up after myself. And, Jesus Christ, I do take showers every day and brush my teeth. No offense to the man himself.)
3. Take care of myself (she wants me to feed myself, who doesn't do this already? she also says go to bed early. Well that's good to know because I didn't know sleeping in class was a good sign! Thought I'd also mention that I get on average 7 hours of sleep. It's just that, it's so uninteractive with my brain and I just die on the table. And no matter how late or early I go to bed on a weekend, I always get up at the same hour. Be it 9pm or 3am. in this case, I get up 10-11am, not sure why)
4. Read a book (first of all, alot of books don't suit(e) me, probably from alot of games but anyway, I assure you I've read plenty in my time. Also she tells me to "read a book" when I don't have a book list, or a library right in front of my face, or even a book to read! Do I have to get it myself? oh dang, yeah I guess. Will you give me a book to read? no, and they are bad anyways.)
5. Go to church with your brother. (IF I only knew a huge range of vocabulary to describe how much of a pain he really is...he is probably phsycological...did I spell that right? Yeah, for example. I knock on the door one morning when he's in the bathroom, clothed of course, and he peaks his head out, only his head. I ask, " where are my pants..." and he, without a word or sound, closes the door on me. I knock again in this fashion, but this time I passively bang on the door like, Bang - Bang - Bang -Bang. Guess what he does? He swings the door open in less than a second and comes jumping out and punches me probably 5 on the arm, like, for real punching. Then he says something like, what the fuck is your problem and punches me 3 more times. I raise my fist but don't do anything else. he says something like, yeah what are you going to do, and I say, I can't do anything because you'll hit me back (he'll grab my neck, scratch my face, pull my hair, kick me in the balls, or worse, steal my money and break the computer I use) literally and no amount of retaliation will stop him. ---- And the other reason why I don't go to church with him and about 20 other asian teens (friends of his) is that, he just leaves without me, yes. But other activities I go with them. the city fair, tubing in the mountains, bowling, etc.
6. Excersice. (Umm...as you can see on my progress report, I have an A in weight training, need I say more? No but I will. I rode my bike and walked up the hills, 6 miles in the snow, when it snowed. and before I had weight training, I had conditioning, which made me sweat and burn more muscle then than now. I may also ride my bike if I feel like it, but riding with the same bike got old, and riding the same hills and streets also got old.)
7. Clean the house (hell, she doesn't even do that herself! monkey see monkey do? But yeah...I should...should get that mold off of the shower curtains and bathroom shades, and the bird poop off the floor.)
8. Think about my future (I'm not exactly a prophet, and I prefer not doing the same things every day or week, but I plan on going to college, the least I can do, right?)
9. And anything else she basically tells me about life and what to do around the place, I have a perfect explanation that's like, "Yeah, it's totally possible! And I do those things, and with a little reminder and help, I can do those things too. And yes, I ALREADY KNOW EVERY BIT OF LIFE KNOWLEDGE YOU TELL ME.)
She acts like I never told her anything either. She even once said, "well you never came upstairs to see me"....well it's because 9 out of the 10 times I do, I run upstairs, I'm friggen ignored. I even wave my arms around and she doesn't ask me to do anything. Maybe she says one hi. Then I think to myself...oh, alright then...I'll go back downstairs! Because well, I got a TV, computer, and my homework downstairs. As well as the phone.
She isn't as dumb as I make her out to be, but I'm just telling it like it really is. I don't think she understands.
Yeah, by Friday if she doesn't give me her credit card, I'm affraid that I'm going to have to buy a gamecard. I got 200$ from christmas from mother too and I may have to use it but I don't want to. Dishonest and feels like I have a time limit still (seriously) so it's like I have to play to get my moneys worth. Let's see how fast I can get my money taken away or my internet/computer taken away if my brother or mother finds out...
And if any being on this planet or in the heavens take offense to what I say, then I'm sorry, ok?
World of warcraft is entertainment. Entertainment is a way of life. EVERYONE needs entertainment or fun during their time. My way of life has been temporarily taken away from me (But you guys are like, real time though so it's even more nerve wrecking), And now I'm getting a little angry and sad, really.
I do this because, well, I guess you can say it's because, I love you guys.

Heh, reading some of that reminds me of my teenage years. Just let things cool down a bit so it doesn't end up getting any worse. Hope everything starts to works out for you soon bud.

Asian parents are crazy! My brother broke my parents..I had it easy when it was my turn. All he did was go to jail for GTA. =D

Edit: After about 3 hours after posting this, I have tried to fix my bike but now, it's even more broke. My bike, is broke...it would just take me an hour to ride to the store and back home, now it will take me 3+ hours to walk...oh, my God.
Alright, I think I just got the official no from my mom even though I showed her that I could do womens work for a few days or a week or however long I did it...maybe I should have gone to church too instead of doing some homework. She basically has the same opinion of me even after I explained myself since last friday.
My mom on a normal weekday, works from like 9am and comes home at around 9pm and on the weekends from around 9am and comes home around 6-7pm...and if my brother ever comes into the room I could just minimize the screen and pretend i'm doing homework and just watching tv...I'm going to have to buy a gamecard now...(1-27-007) I'm angry by the way.
